Jaipur is the capital of magical Rajasthan and also known as the pink city of India. I visit India’s most popular province mid summer. Even though the heath I still walk around for hours and hours in the beautiful pink city. With two full memory cards and soaked in sweat I arrive back in my hotel called The Royal Heritage Haveli.

The family owned hotel is built in the 18th century. This original boho chique boutique hotel is an oasis of peace in a buzzing chaotic city. After a fool day of exploring in the dust and heath I can totally relax here. Centered in the property is a large garden with tropical flowering plants, palms and a spacious swimming pool.

The 12 all different colorful rooms have an authentic Indian design. Every morning a delicious –if you want local- breakfast is served in the serene courtyard. The owners and their two daughters are super friendly, helpful and have great tips on what to do in Jaipur.
