“The picturesque city of Brugge stole my heart. This weekend I discovered a new hotspot in town – Sanseveria Bagelsalon – and their bagels are truly to die for!”

I love to stroll through the medieval streets of Bruges, and enjoy all tiny boutiques, gardens, towers, bridges, churches, parks, and pop-up art galleries. Most of all I enjoy tasting those amazing Belgium beers and delicious chocolates.  Brugge is a city to consume, and every minute I spend there is amazing.

Last weekend I discovered a new favorite hang-out. A perfect spot for a Sunday morning brunch amidst retro-meets-scandinavian vibe. On the counter an old pick up is playing, near the window you’ll find funky old chairs, and a variety of plants and flowers bring the place to life. All decorations are a reminder of a different time and place, chaotically organized along the walls. I immediately feel at home when I get cosy on the big couch.

The bagels all look delicious and I find it difficult to choose. Sweet of savory? Banana-chocolate or avocado-bacon… Or maybe that tasty looking granola or a quiche? When we order tea we can choose between a ‘Beatrixje’ or ‘Filipje’, names of Dutch and Belgium royals. When in Brugges, make sure you go to this charming place!
