When visiting a new city, there are two important things I want to Google upfront: 1. Is there a botanical garden? 2. Is there a cat cafe? Because no matter where on earth I go, my love for plants and cats are never-ending. When I discovered that Ghent had a cat paradise, I just had to visit it and it did not disappoint.
Where most cat cafes are a new home for shelter cats, DreamCATchers goes ever further. With a well though out adoption program they try to give as many cats as possible a second chance at a happy life. Dozens of shelter cats already found a new home! You can visit the furry residents whether you’re adopting or just looking for some quality cat time.
DreamCATchers is closed Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays to acclimate new cats to the space and give their current residents some much deserved rest.
