Solitude B&B on Aveley Ranch
“I woke up with the sound of newborn sheep running around the cabin of Solitude B&B on Aveley Ranch. If this would be my wake-up call every day I would be a very happy person.”
Solitude B&B is the former house of the sheep farmer, situated at the Aveley Ranch. It was built in 1906 and is (after renovatinge) still in original style. There is a shower in the main house up the road, but it is much more fun to have a bath in a bowl like they did in 1906. Your toilet is situated in one of those cute outdoor houses!
The farm is still an active sheep farm. Sheep cuddling all around! You can wander around their land, it’s beautiful. The ranch is surrounded by hills and a small river crosses the area. There are hummingbirds flying around the house, looking for the wonderful wild flowers growing there. There is no WiFi, no tv, no stress, just enjoy this pure Canadian life.
