“This place immediately helps me feel the reggae rasta vibe of Caye Caulker. Hammocks everywhere! After a good nap, we take one of the hostel’s canoes to explore the island from an ocean kind of view and end up at The Split drinking rum. We really feel like pirates. Can I stay here forever?”

Bella’s has a wide open outside spot, which is rather convenient, ’cause it’s really hot on this island. That’s where everyone meets. There’s no airco in the rooms, but the fan might help you sleep.

You can cook your own meal here, or go to one of the great dining spots the island has to offer. Everything’s really close by. You might want to use a bike or a canoe (for free!) to explore the island a bit more. You can watch the sunset on the water too from this side of the island.

Be sure to go snorkeling or diving in the Great Blue Hole when you have the chance!
