“A beautiful oasis of green just around the corner of the chaotic city life in Paris. This place screams creativity and sustainability, but most of all happiness.”

Just at the border of the city centre of Paris you’ll find a place where vintage, creativity, urban gardening and good food come together. A beautiful old station is the beating heart of this place.

The restaurant in the main hall serves fresh and local food. The menu always includes at least three vegetarian and at least one vegan dish. As you can guess from the name of this place, recycling is very important and is key to everything they do or make. There is no thing like food waste at La Recyclerie!

Next to the main entrance there’s a repair café. In line with their recycling philosophy they encourage fixing broken stuff instead of replacing them. For a small fee you can bring your broken stuff, but if you are a volunteer with any of the other projects at La Recyclerie they fix it for free!

In the back of La Recyclerie there’s a garden with picknick tables, market stands for the sunday vintage market and a vegetable garden with fresh veggies and chickens! On top of all this awesomeness they organise all kinds of of events involving sustainability or creativity.
