It’s been a while since I’ve been swept away by ice cream, but while I’m nibbling from a big scoop of apple crumble at Jones Ice Cream in Berlin I know… it’s happening again. Oh damn you Jones!

Jones Ice Cream is somewhat famous in Berlin’s ice cream-scene. Their bright blue, beautiful ice cream truck can be found on so many different food markets, you’ve probably seen it once or twice already. And so did I, but for some reason it took me a while to finally order their homemade ice cream.

But thank god you don’t have to wait for another food market before you can eat a delicious scoop of Jones ice cream! They have opened their own shop in Berlin’s upcoming neighbourhood Schöneberg this spring after a while of reconstruction.

And now all you need to do is take the U-bahn towards Eisenacherstraße and eat scoops of heaven served in homemade cones. Combine whisky pecan with cucumber tonic, or go for something fruity like passion fruit and yoghurt and add a scoop of apple crumble (with loads of crumble chunks! Mmm!).
