“Canopy Hotel is a luxurious hotel in the middle of Reykjavik in Iceland and part of Iceland Air Hotels. The hotel has an amazing interior, comfortable rooms and a perfect location. The main street of the city filled with bars, cafe’s and shops is just around the corner!”
The rooms of the hotel are filled with local references. The clean design of the furniture and the typical blue and grey colour scheme have Iceland written all over it. Little details like a music box that plays an Icelandic lullaby, paintings from local artists on the wall and books about the country make these rooms extra charming. All these details make me feel extra excited about my stay in Iceland.
Not only the rooms are well designed, the whole hotels looks like a picture from a magazine. There are a few different common rooms where you can sit down and relax. Breakfast is served in the lobby area and is simply amazing. The breakfast buffet is filled with fresh, local ingredients and there are a lot of different things to choose from. There is no better way to start your day.
In conclusion: Canopy is a great place to stay when you’re visiting Reykjavik. The thing I love about it most is that it feels very luxurious, but also has a great relaxed and cool vibe. You won’t be sleeping in a hotel filled with business men, unlike many other luxurious city-hotels.
