“The Palacio Nacional da Pena (Pena Palace) is one of the most beautiful tourist attractions of Portugal that I’ve ever seen, and just a 30 minute train ride away from Lissabon.”

When you arrive at the site you’re going to be amazed by the diverse colors of the building. It’s just like you’ve entered a real life fairy tale! The Sintra Pena Palace is unlike every other palace in the world: it’s yellow, it’s pink, it’s light blue… If someone said it could be Aladdins home, I definitely would believe it.

But the building is not the only thing worth visiting. Make sure to wander through the big green gardens of the palace. When you arrive early in the morning you have the chance to experience real silence in the gardens. Be amazed by the views. the large trees, the different roads and more. Take a few hours to immerse yourself in this wonderful piece of Portugese nature and to return home like a new person.
