“Hidden in a small garden lies the old Arabic Baths – Banys Àrabs – of Mallorca. Even though it is just a really small place, you can definitely see and feel how old it is. It’s also very quiet, something you don’t often find in crowded Mallorca. But most impressive of them all is the small but exotic garden.”

Dating from the 10th century it’s hard to believe the Banys Árabs are the only remains left of the long presence of the Arabs in Mallorca. This makes it all the more special to see! One little heads up though is that it is very, very small. But the beautiful garden, the small entry fee of 2 euro and it being located in the centre of the city definitely makes it worth it to see it for yourself.

It’s just a 5 minute walk from the famous Seu cathedral, in a beautiful part of the old town. On your way you’ll find some other beautiful gardens as well, so if you have about 30 minutes to spare it’s definitely worth your time to check out this tiny gem.
