“A dark brown interior with lots of Spanish flamenca dancers on the wall is the first thing you will see when entering La Flamenca in Valencia.”

Next to this wall is the large bar with all the delicious tapas. I can only say yummy yummy! It looks delicious and the choices are endless. Pinxtos with goat cheese and onion marmalade or the classic with cheese and Iberico… I decided to eat an entire three course dinner out of these yummy tapas and ordered three times. This was  a huge struggle as I wanted to eat them all! And do not forget to order a bottle of red wine which of course is a necessity.

I felt very welcome as all sorts of people entered the doors of La Flamenca including hippies, students, friends, families and colleagues. It is nice to eat in the middle of all this. It is a busy restaurant but I do not mind as it makes the evening for me. My friend and me were chatting at a small table in the middle of the restaurant and we saw that the tapas at the bar slowly disappeared. People had the same struggle as we did… They could not decide what to choose from the bar! It is one of the experiences I will never forget as I really felt like a local, enjoying my tapas and red wine in this amazing restaurant.

Tip: Make a reservation, otherwise you have to come early (before 21:00) to get a table. The restaurant is getting crowded at 22:00.
