She knows all there is to know about their origin and what is the best time of day to drink them. Since it’s morning, we settle for a lovely green tea brew. Just sitting there, surrounded by plants, makes me feel so at ease.”
Concept store 512 combines stylish clothes, plants, tea and stroopwafels, a typically Dutch treat. It basically comes down to two thin layers of cookie with a caramel like substance in the middle. Except here, where they serve stroopwafels with fennel, coconut, goat cheese and bacon. Each stroopwafel goes perfectly together with a specific kind of tea.
As a plant and tea enthusiastic, this place is right up my alley. You can shop for cute clothes, browse for exotic plants and when you get tired, you can take it easy with a nice cuppa. The atmosphere is nice and calm, perfect to bring a book to relax or bring your laptop to get some work done. Also a big plus for me: they play songs by artists like Foster and the People and Tame Impala.
