“A perfect green hotspot near the busiest part of the Netherlands. I always come at peace at The Soesterduinen.”

Now and then I take my bike to go to my favorite nature spot around Utrecht: the Soesterduinen near Soest. From the city centre of Utrecht it’s only less than an hour by bike and more than worth the effort. The Soesterduinen is a big nature spot with dunes, heath, forests and more. You can spend hours of walking and dreaming over here without one minut of boredom.

The Soesterduinen is a popular hotspot for photo shoots, weddings and movie shooting, which is not that odd. You can compare the green area with the Veluwe but then closer to the Randstad. An absolute must-go when you’re living in Utrecht!

Ps. Don’t forget your own photo camera to shoot some pretty pictures!
