Festival Mundial takes place in ‘de Spoorzone’ in Tilburg. De Spoorzone is a large industrial area that once was part of the Dutch Railways. Today it is a place where more and more cool businesses and events find their home. The festival has grown over the years. Back in the days it used to be a small party in the park, but now it has become much more. The industrial area makes the festival extra special and it is so beautifully decorated!
The festival is a ‘green’ festival. They give extra attention to recycling, waste reduction and they encourage traveling by train to the festival instead of going by car. On the festival site you can learn all about different sustainable projects in the urban garden area.
If you’re planning on buying a ticket, be sure to get an early bird ticket. Every year the festival organizes a secret concert at a special location for all the early birds!
