Oriental hospitality in Utrecht

“I fell in love with the vintage grandma chair with its the flowers and colors at Pampalini in Utrecht.”

This colorful brunch cafe is a real addition to the city of Utrecht. The owners, the brothers Ramin and Behnam, have a Persian background, something you’ll see in the dishes on the menu. Try the exotic breakfasts with spicy herbs or just go for the traditional English breakfast. Do you want something else that’s not on the menu? No worries: they will make something for you with all the fresh products they have.

The interior is incredibly beautiful. I fell in love with the vintage ‘grandma’ chair with all the flowers and colors. One of the owners told me they had to do much effort to get the chair into the lunch room. He assured me that when they decide to throw the chair away they will let me know so I can have it. How cute is that?

When you’re looking for a special place in the city centre of Utrecht for breakfast, lunch, a cup of coffee or just a nice talk, you really should go to Pampalini. It will do your heart and mind good.
