“Together is what we need this world to be.”

De Kaaij is thé insider tip for Nijmegen. It’s a place completely DIY. Most things are self-made out of wood, cork and old fabrics. The furniture is from charity shops (you’ll see it when you get there, none of the chairs match). The food they serve here is locally grown. You will find chips, fries, hamburgers, pancakes and lots of beer and wine. This place is open for 2 months a year, you can find the exact timetable on their website.

The thing I love the most about this place? You can participate in different kind of projects, workshops, yoga/sport lessons or even join the theatre. Together we can make something better, together is so much more fun you see… together is what we need this world to be.

She is in love with big cities and charming towns, but adores nature. You can find her food- and travel adventures on My Delicious Journey. For The Boho Guide she will explore the best boho food places and overnight stays.
