“I decided to stay in bed at CitizenM Shoreditch today as this bed is too good to be true… And it’s perfect for starting a pillow fight with your roomy! Not to mention the huge size of the bed – from head till toe. You will never fall out of bed which of course is a good thing when you start a pillow fight.
Hotel CitizenM Shoreditch in London is an example where different styles combine perfectly. It blends naturally with the neighborhood of Shoreditch. The graffiti at the other side of the street is a perfect marker for the hotel.
The rooms of the hotel look like small shoebox diorama’s which I love. The rooms are not too big but they give a feeling of a home away from home. Especially when you turn on the lights to your favorite colors. I turned the lights to yellow, just like a sunny day at London city, so I will save my penny for a rainy day.
Before heading into Shoreditch I decided to first drink a double espresso at the lounge of the hotel which is filled with little design gems. Oh my… I have to look everywhere!! You have to pay attention to the fun bar which you cannot miss. And also to the beautiful stairs going down the hotel lobby.
Another extra in this hotel is that around the corner you will find the Boxpark which is the largest pop up shopping center of London. A little further you will find the Spitafields market. But for now let’s wander around the streets of Shoreditch to spot some more of those beautiful graffiti’s you can find over here.
