Moon Mountain Lodge in the beautiful Naukluft mountains of Namibia is truly a so-called gem. This luxury tents are built against a mountain. You are able to let go of all your worries and demons staying in this beautiful place. The oryx (always greet them!) are welcoming us, the private plunge pool at our tent-suite offers amazing views and the sunset is unbeatable. The tent itself is beautifully decorated with an African touch and the bathroom is very spacious. Who wouldn’t want to take a bath with this view?
The lodge was built in the middle of nature, it was done so with care to the future and with as little impact on the Nature as possible. They use recycled plastic instead of wood and have their own water recycling plant, watering an organic garden are just a few measures used to make it ecologically friendly.
Moon Mountain Lodge is ideally situated for travelers who are on their way to visit the world’s highest dunes in Sossusvlei, as the lodge is only 50km away from the entrance gate and close to the quaint little village of Solitaire.
