“I love old stuff, but I also love my creature comforts. In Apartament Karmelicka Warszawa in Warsaw I felt a little bit like a mid-class worker from the renaissance period when I entered. Not too luxurious but still very, very comfortable.
This apartment has an old feel but with all the modern things you need to make your life a little bit more comfortable. The apartment has a coffee machine, dish washer, tv, and good WiFi. But who needs that when you can pretend to be in a different time-period?
There is a fireplace, equipped kitchen, small living room (could sleep two people extra), bedroom and of course a bathroom and toilet. There are plenty of fluffy towels and nice smelling toiletries in the bathroom. The apartment is perfect for two people, but you can also sleep four people. The neighborhood itself is somewhat depressing, so don’t let yourself be fooled by the outside appearance. The apartment includes some very nice details, such as old-style radiators.
The neighborhood includes a few good restaurants and is within walking distance from the old center of Warsaw. It is close to metro and tram and various supermarkets.
