Earthship Patagonia is founded in 2015 by Marcelo and Taryn. With the help of 50 international sustainable design students and 20 local volunteers they built the Earthship. Their goal is to be a 100% sustainable in the future and they are already halfway!
Earthship Patagonia uses materials like glass bottles and old tires for recycling, filtered rain water for the showers and solar panels to gain energy. Next to their goal of becoming entirely sustainable, they also focus on creating a warm community of travellers. With cooking amazing daily vegan dinners for everyone that would like to join in and organising retreats they make sure you find a renewed balance within yourself and new friends for life!
When you come in you can get a tour around the premises from Juan. You will get a lovely homemade soap to use in the showers and Juan shows you around. He will let you greet the chickens and cats that are calling Earthship Patagonia their home as well. Through these guided tours, workshops and excursions they learn you that Ecological Living can actually be easy, fun, and comfortable.
