“I close my eyes while swinging in the hammock of the Prisamata hostel in Argentinia, listen to the music and… feel completely relaxed.”

Salta was my first stop in Argentina after a month of studying Spanish in Buenos Aires… To be honest, the city Salta was not my favourite, but the hostel was! I had a great time here and after visiting the North of Argentina like Purmamarca, Tilcara en Humahuaca, I came back to this wonderful place.

The people who run the Prisamata hostel are so nice, helpful, social and funny. I’ve had so much fun! When I arrived, one of the guys had a day off and guided me trough the city center. They will help you where ever they can and the atmosphere is good. Prisamata is situated in an old, high building and when you lay in one of the hammocks you definitely will dream away.

Tip: If you’re traveling by bus, Salta is the perfect stop before you visit the North of Argentina, such as the provence Jujuy and it’s beautiful little villages and mountains. You can visit Cafayate from Salta as well and have a stay in Cafayate before you go back to Salta.
