‘Hostel Liras de La Poesia is the first hostel I encounter in Brazil and it makes me feel at home immediately. Johanna and her staff know the art of hospitality and do everything within their power to make sure I have pleasant stay!’

Hostel Liras de Poesia (the poetry hostel) lies in one of the more quiet streets in the city centre of Port de Galinhas in Brazil. Only a short 5 minute walk and you’re in the buzzing centre where you can find shops and restaurants.

Next to the perfect location, the hostel has a very cozy atmosphere. As soon as you walk in you enter a lovely garden and terrace that makes just the right place for you to enjoy your (free!) morning breakfast. During the siesta you can make yourself comfortable in the hammock. While you close your eyes you will hear the birds whistle. Life here is just perfect.

The rooms are decent, simple and clean, most of them dorms or double rooms and they all have air-con (believe me, you will need it!). Staff will make you tapiocas in the morning and help you with whatever they can.

During the summer season there are sometimes small parties with live music in the garden. Grab a cerveza, find some good company and have a wonderful time at Liras de Poesia!
