There are some wonderful places to stay, eat and shop out there – provided you know where to find them. Our wanderers personally seek the whole wide world for the most inspiring accommodation, where to head for the tastiest dinner in a bohemian atmosphere and the best shops that sell beautiful boho stuff.
Our nomadic team is spread over different countries and we all travel the whole wide wonderful world on a daily basis. Every boho place has been personally visited and honestly reviewed by one of our boho wanderers, and each wanderer tells their own first-person tale using personal photo’s and useful information. This traßvel guide consists only of handpicked places that touch us, inspire us and hopefully will take you to another world too.
Laura is a storyteller, passionate earthling, travel writer & free spirit. She is founder of The Boho Guide and travel blog What About Her, fascinated by mountains and always on the road for adventure. She loves cats, dresses, wine and everything bohemian. Find her where the wild things are…

Anouck is a creative soul who loves plants, cats and food ánd the newest intern of TBG. She loves big cities just as much as she loves nature and likes to combine the best of both worlds while traveling. On her own blog Anouck Plume she writes about the things that make her happy in life. For The Boho Guide she will look for everything green in cities of the world.

Iris is a neo hippie, digital nomad, photographer, dream chaser and enjoying life to the fullest. Currently she is slow traveling the world for Meet You At The Bridge. She is passionate about our planet, sustainability, adventures, wine, barefoot dancing & laughing. Whether you’re looking for a boho chique beach villa on a private island in Asia, a hippie camping on the calm side of Ibiza or the newest gypsy hotspots in Nicaragua, Iris shares them with you on The Boho Guide.

Liv is a full time dreamer, nature lover, freelance writer, happy camper for camp blog Expeditie Kram and in love with music, adventure and observing the world. For The Boho Guide she will take you to the most beautiful nature spots where you can throw out your tent or just wander around.

Eva is addicted to the big city life and it brought her to Berlin. She loves to combine the busy streets filled with the newest restaurants and bars with lazy sundays in the park and shares stories on Blackbirds&Blossom. She believes that it takes a while to get to know a new city and thus is a big fan of returning to some of of her favourites to finally feel like a local wanderer. For The Boho Guide she explores Berlin and beyond.

Iris is a surfgirl, artsy soul and ocean minded wanderer, always looking for waves, everything eco and places where nature has not been rearranged by the hand of man. She loves teaching yoga, works as a freelance copywriter from her hippie van and blogs on her own travel and natural lifestyle blog The sea is my cup of tea. For The Boho Guide she will explore eco-friendly, sustainable and budget places and the best vegan food.

Kelly is a travel addict that combines her work in education with traveling as often as possible. She has a deep love for nature and is always moved by the sight of mountains. While traveling she loves to connect with locals and to wander off to the less beaten paths. She shares her stories and photos on Backpack Kelly, hoping to inspire others to follow their dreams. For The Boho Guide, Kelly will share all about good coffee, honest vegetarian food, the best spots to go outdoors and small-scale overnight stays to lay your head to rest after a day of exploring.

Hannah Sophia is a story chaser, not interested in an ordinary life, a dreamer and creative wanderer without a house, traveling the world to share thoughts and inspiration in her own visual way. She loves capturing the beauty of the world. Her own mind is her biggest teacher, she is interested in buddhism and a big Asia fan. She is working for a company as a photographer, writing a book about her discoveries and she writes on her own blog as well. For the Boho Guide, she will share her favorite bohemian spots while traveling – surfing in Mexico, diving in Bali and camping in Chili, Hannah is looking for that great adventure and has no idea when she is going home.

Linda is a nature enthusiast that loves to explore and discover. At her blog My Wanderlust Diary she takes you on her adventures. New adventures, big and small, make her day. Adventures like finding the cutest vintage suitcase or galloping full speed through nature on the back of her friend for life, but also meeting with new cultures in remote places on the edge of civilization. For The Boho Guide she will explore honest vegetarian food and lovely places to relax in remote areas around the world.

Sandra her favourite things are hitchhiking and roadtrips. After living for two years in Australia she is now living in New Zealand, telling stories on Where Will She Go. With a mind that never stands still and a heart that is always overflowing she enjoys moments of serenity while traveling. Meditation retreats, yoga courses or spending nights in the quiet desert are no stranger to her. For the Boho Guide she will share all her favourite spots that makes her heart beat faster and her eyes sparkle.

Ria is a bohemian traveler who follows the heart. She loves to dance bare feet and has feathers in her hair. In summer she lives on the ‘white island’ Ibiza, where she is surrounded by gypsy souls and free spirits. She loves nature, animals and making music. With her blog Very Fairia she is inspiring people to follow their heart. For the Boho Guide she will write about bohemian shops and restaurants and the most beautiful beds where you can dream your dreams.

Angélica is a dreamer, a firm believer in fairy tales. She is in love with the colder countries and has a particular obsession with grey, dreary, gorgeous Scotland and colourful, mesmerizing Japan. She is also obsessed with mountains, plants, cats and most of all photography. She loves taking selfies and to capture the world in pictures. There is beauty in every corner! On her blog Fernweh Forevermore she writes a bit more about her travels. Adventures and beautiful moments, these are two of the things Lisa collects in her life. For her, traveling is about discovering as well as finding your true self. She want to be a colorful person, collecting small pieces of the world and be a part of it. That is one of the reasons she shares her hidden gems, as beauty has to be shared. Melissa is a freelance writer and photographer by trade and an avid traveler by heart who divides her time between discovering beautiful places and writing about them. Chigago-born and Florida-raised, she now lives in Barcelona. She loves the poetry of place: the way afternoon light falls across her Modernist floor tiles, the pale glow of agave in the blue light of dusk, the soft snow of sakura petals settling on a river’s black glass. But she’s also driven by the stories of people too. She loves interior design and has an unhealthy obsession with textiles and other people’s cats. When she’s not mentally redecorating her house or trying to not to fidget during kundalini class, she writes about Catalan food and culture on her blog Ataula and publishes stories about people and places at Kita Collective.

Debby is a spiritual movement enthusiast with an untameable gypsy soul. She’s a yoga teacher to be, teaches Spanish on the road and tries to learn from cultures from an intercultural communication kind of perspective. On her blog Bohemian Dreams she blogs about travel, spirituality and single motherhood. For the Boho Guide she will take you to hippie yogic spots close to or on the beach, so you can hear the sea breathe the salty air.

Judith is enamored with the idea of slowly seeing the world in its entirety (or as much of it as possible, anyway) for as long as she can remember. The trips she made over the years couldn’t be more different. Sometimes with a focus on soul searching, sometimes with a touch of luxury and a glass of bubbles, sometimes hiking and camping off the grid. She’s a little obsessed with photography, snowboarding, and reading guidebooks to countries she has no immediate plans to visit. After years of wandering without a clear path or purpose, she has discovered her sweetest way of living; now she wants to help others do the same by sharing her gems on The Boho Guide.

Geert is the type of traveler that doesn’t make any plans and will probably stay abroad forever, as long as there’s sun and good waves involved! Surfing and building are the two things he loves most. His plan is to built a wooden house in Portugal in the next years. With his girlfriend and travel partner Iris he’s working on a new platform, called People Like You And Me to inspire others with good mood food recipes and food videos. From his van in Portugal he will be sharing his best travel picks for The Boho Guide, most likely near the ocean!
