Bluebird Eco Village
I feel as if I’m in the middle of a forest, crickets are chirping, the fresh air is blowing through the cracks of our hut and the night sky is magical if you look up from the shower of Bluebird Eco Village in Chiang Mai.
Chiang Mai is the perfect stop between Bangkok and Pai. It’s a backpackers, hippie-kinda city with the busy vibe from Bangkok flowing in from the South. Its, to be honest, everything I like combined into one. But being so close to Pai you don’t need to stay in the bigger hotels or resorts as you would maybe do in Bangkok. Chiang Mai has amazing accommodation to offer.
Bluebird Eco Village is one of those amazing accommodation. It’s a big surprise to find such a tranquil place in the middle of the touristic old town of Chiang Mai. The owners created a small village in a garden. You’ll find several bungalows, perfect for a couple of nights stay.
The bungalows aren’t much but the feeling of nature being so close, the sound of the crickets and the outside shower and toilet make your stay in Chiang Mai even more special.
