“I cycle through my new favourite Thai city Chiang Mai, a great place to be for digital nomads like me. There are so many start ups, co-working spaces, good (Wi-Fi!) creative people to share ideas with, inspiring meetings and of course a cheap life standard. I couldn’t feel more at home when enjoying this Yoga Treat at Go Beyond!”

The northern Thai city has a healthy food scene and there are a lot of yoga schools to stay fit and flexible after a day of working behind your laptop. I treat myself with a yoga treat of Go Beyond: four days in a row a daily morning and evening yoga sessions of 1,5 hours.

During the treat you stay at the Eco Resort, a former colonial school that turned into a basic ECO friendly hostel with a huge Olympic swimming pool. It’s a quiet getaway set in a peaceful tropical garden, a 10-minute bike ride from Old Town. Being a Dutchie, being able to explore a foreign city by bike is a huge plus!

The Yoga classes take place at Namo Yoga which is situated in a small lane near the East gate of Old Town. The school has a pretty little courtyard decorated with hanging plants and a few tables where you can drink herbal tea. There are two auditoriums for the classes. The teachers are all experienced expat yogi’s who mostly teach vinyasa and hatha flow.

At the end of the week I am super happy to have improved my yoga, I feel reborn and I am totally balanced out!
