“It’s so green and the air is so clean in Kolm Saigurn, a breathtaking valley in Austria! Waking up on monday morning never felt so good. The waterfalls thunder in the background as I pour myself some fresh mountain water.”

In Raurisertal, a big nature area in Hohe Tauern National Park in Austria, you can find numerous breathtaking walking areas. One of the valley heads is called Kolm Saigurn, a stunning nature area full of magical hiking tracks!

I hiked the Waterfall Roundway: a two hour hike that takes you along five spectacular waterfalls. It is a fairly easy track and on your way you can greet horses, enjoy the green alpine pastures and smell lovely colourful mountain flowers. Every hike here is a great experience if you are a fan of magnificent views and snowy mountaintops.

In summer, hikers and mountaineers enjoy the tranquility of Kolm Saigurn while in the winter the area is filled with ski tourists. Either way: Kolm Saigurn is a true paradise for nature lovers. Every season, every year.
