“While stepping into Tajine in the Belgium city of Hasselt I immediately feel at home – the cosy couches and homely atmosphere invite me in. That and the lovely owner Yousra, who welcomes us with the biggest smile.”

Tajine is situated nearby the station of Hasselt, in an area that still needs a lot of work. By organizing little street festivals and social events owner Yousra is doing everything to make the community come together and make the area a better place. In her words: she wants to connect the people through food, drinks, workshops and social events. Tajine is not only a restaurant, but also a co-working space.

Besides doing a lot for the local community, Tajine is also about food of course! Inspired by her Morrocan roots and travels through countries like Jordan, Yousra serves some lovely Middle-Eastern street food. Definitely a recommendation if you find yourself in Hasselt!
