“Recycling reached a new level when I entered the Brody House Hotel in Budapest. Such an inspirational place to sleep. It gave me so many new ideas for my own house.”

With only 11 rooms this is a small, intimate hotel. I slept in the ‘Ludo Room’ for two nights. Ludo Thiriez is an artist who has his work on display in Sao Paulo, Paris ánd in the Brody House. The room is filled with beautiful artwork, creative decorating solutions and wonderful materials. The bathtub was in the middle of the room, but you also have a separate shower. Sitting in the bath tub, being surrounded by art feels very eclectic (if such a feeling exists).

The staff is very friendly too and breakfast is just simply great. Watching the sun rise through the trees, sitting in design furniture, pondering what to do this day while eating fresh fruits, healthy serials with nuts and home made nut/fruit-cake feels perfect.

Its location is very convenient as it’s right in the city center and within walking distance from the old center.
