“Spend a relaxing & thrilling afternoon exploring Glengarriff Bay by sea kayak. I’ve spotted so many seals, it was beautiful!”

We started at an old stone fishing pier in Glengariff and we sea kayaked through deserted wooded islands, exploring sheltered coves and besides the rugged coastline. It was fantastic! We’ve experienced the abundant wildlife and friendly seals of Glengarriff Bay; a tranquil sheltered inlet, part of the larger expanse of Bantry Bay and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. Kayaking with seals at this place is an unforgettable experience.

We’ve spotted so many seals and other wildlife – it was enchanting kayaking at sea with seals just a few meters away from us, coming out of the water with their curious eyes… Probably my skills in kayaking did not give much serenity to these funny animals, which, however, have leaned the muzzle out of the water to check and snort when we arrive. Our guide Leif was a knowledgable and very friendly guy. Highly recommended!
