“From the moment we walked through the door of Designer City Studio in Szczecin in Poland, it felt like we were coming back home. Every detail looked like it could’ve been ours and the feeling of our home away from home, made the stay in Szczecin even more pleasant.”

Szczecin is the perfect Polish city for a small weekend break, to get away from the daily routine and enjoy some time with dumplings, colourful houses and beautiful parks. This designer studio in the north of the city centre is the perfect place to stay and recharge your mind.

I know for a fact that I’m not the only one that feels more at home when plants are involved and Kasia (the host of this AirbNb) did her best to incorporate plants in her studio. But honestly, the plants aren’t all that made me fall in love with her apartment, it was the attention to detail and the combination of vintage and clean design that made it even better.

While you might’ve explored the centre of Szczecin in a day or two, I totally recommend renting a car and driving to the seaside. There are several great nature reserves and amazing lakes around the city, great for a hike or two or just to catch your breath while you enjoy a day at the beach.

And don’t forget to have breakfast at Spotkanie when you’re staying at this designer studio! Their breakfast waffles are the best I’ve ever had.
