Tipi Valley is located in the Western Algarve of Southern Portugal. The retreat is nestled away in a secluded natural valley on the dramatic Portuguese Atlantic coast. You can book a 5 or 7-day retreat at Tipi Valley and explore the surrounding beaches of Odeceixe, Monte Clérigo and Amoreira for your daily surf lessons.
The camp has 15 spacious tipi tents to sleep in. The beds are comfy, I have a little closet and a light to read at night. The facilities in the valley are simple but charming and comfortable. Everything has been constructed from locally sourced products and is designed to reduce its footprint on the environment. Every day I enjoy two yoga lessons and get picked up to go to the beautiful beaches and are dropped back again. All meals are healthy, delicious and mostly vegetarian and vegan.
Tipi Valley has a simple, effective model for sustainable living. During my week I experience first hand what it’s like to live using direct energy of the sun. The camp is completely off the grid and sustainable designed. There is no Wi-Fi in the camp, which gives me a total sense of disconnection. During my stay Tipi Valley inspires me to keep the same good habits and lifestyle after my stay: a lifestyle with wellness and good food habits, positive intentions, a growth in easy adjustable sustainable basics and living more conscious.
