“Every morning we would head out to this coffee house called Santa Canela Café, strolling through Malaga’s beautiful botanical parks before we’d get our flat whites with oat milk and cheesecakes. Yes, cheesecake is a pretty good breakfast if you ask me!”

Located in Soho, the artsy district of Málaga, Santa Canela is as you might expect one of those typical hipster cafes. But don’t let that stop you – the coffee is actually really good and that’s coming from a barista (me!). They roast the coffee themselves, so there are plenty of blends and brewing techniques to choose from. So many, it’s almost a little overwhelming. Let’s just say you’ll find your perfect cuppa coffee here, I can guarantee you that.

More into tea or a fresh juice? Of course they have that as well. Just like delicious pancakes, cakes and sandwiches. Not only do they offer a wide variety of coffee, their whole menu is well, kinda huge. I would recommend the cheesecake, but everything looked delicious.

I found the café quiet and cosy, a perfect place to read a book while sipping your coffee. They also have a terrace in case you want to enjoy the sunshine that Spain usually has to offer.
