Campsite ‘t Buitenland
I didn’t have to travel far from home to get the ultimate feeling of freedom. Campsite ’t Buitenland is just around the corner of my house and I couldn’t believe I haven’t been there before!
Hear the birds sing their morning song and start your day with a nice cup of coffee or tea that you can make in the kitchen teepee. After breakfast you take your favorite book and dream away in one of the hammocks. Enjoy the calmth of the woods. Meet other campers and play one of the boardgames at the kitchen area. Share stories at the campfire and end your day with a glass of wine in the hot-tub.
‘t Buitenland is a small campsite in Noord-Brabant, The Netherlands, with thé ultimate Boho vibe. The campsite consists of authentic hand-painted Mongolian Yurts and Finnish kota huts. All yurts are suitable for 2-6 people. The kota’s are suitable for 2-4 people. The Yurts are placed in a forest area and the the kota’s are placed on a sunny field. During our stay we slept in one of the beautiful yurts!
The yurts are very cosy furnished with comfortable beds and couches and lots of cute quirky details. The tents are insulated with a thick layer of felt which keeps the heat out in summer and keeps it warm in winter. To make sure you won’t get cold there is a small wood stove! Staying in a yurt gives you a back-to-basic feeling, but gives you a little more comfort than a normal tent.
At the yurt campsite there is a hot-tub. It takes some effort to heat it up, but it is definitely worth it. It is the best way to end your day at this peaceful camp. Gaze at the stars above with a glass of wine in your hand and realize how beautiful life can be.
