“So, you are at Zusjes in Dordrecht, The Netherlands. Do you prefer a sandwich? Or maybe something sweet? How about a veggie bowl? You know that feeling when picking something from the menu feels impossible because it all looks só tasty? Especially when their entire menu is vegetarian (and vegan) friendly and there’s just so many things to choose from…”

Zusjes (Dutch for sisters) is a vegetarian lunchroom in Dordrecht, The Netherlands, run by, how surprising, two sisters. Their menu offers a variety of both vegetarian and vegan dishes. To get a fair taste they use mostly organic and natural products, mainly homemade. The cosy interior and fresh flowers on the table made me feel at home right away. After strolling down de Voorstraat, one of Dordrechts’ best streets for your portion of Boho shopping, I found their soup of the day a perfect belly warmer. Be sure to try their English scones or carrot cake too, you won’t regret it!
