Food festival De Smaak Karavaan (translated: The Taste Caravan) is a small and cozy festival in the south of the Netherlands. Every year in September the festival strikes down in Tilburg.
A typical food festival like you know them best with almost 40 foodtrucks and other creative kitchens on wheels. The food trucks try to use as much a local products as possible. From meatballs to lobster, this festival has it all.
A food festival isn’t complete without a little bit entertainment. The festival has three small stages with (local) musicians, actors and dancers. Entrance is free, so you don’t have an excuse to stay home when de Smaak Karavaan is in town!
