‘Who doesn’t dream of a cozy little tiny house in the woods, decorated with loads of candles, fluffy blankets and a fire place? This dream can become reality at Droompark Maasduinen.’
Droomparken Maasduinen is a holiday park in the north of Limburg, the Netherlands. This park has different kind of accommodations, but the ones who are the most worth mentioning are the tiny houses.
The tiny houses of Droompark Maasduinen are located in the middle of the hilly park. A separate area with lots of trees and lots of string lights (!) brings a true boho community vibe. It almost feels like a tiny village made out of of tiny houses. The houses are simplistic and functionally decorated with lots of natural elements. There is a small kitchen with all the basics you need, a bathroom with a toilet and shower, a double bed underneath a glass ceiling (perfect for stargazing!), and a sitting area with a fireplace. There is no better way to start this years autumn than cozying up by that fireplace with loads of blankets and wine. If you are reading this any other time of the year: the tiny houses are great for every season. Imagine a thin layer of crips white snow touching the trees or a warm summer night filled with friends and laughter.
The tiny houses share a courtyard where you can enjoy the company of the other campers and have a drink together at the fireplace or have a barbecue party. The cherry on top of this charming little area is the hottub that gives you a true holiday feeling.
The app of Droomparken offers you extra services (like breakfast) and information about the park and activities in the area. There is a lot to explore in and around the park. Unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to check it out ourselves, since it was raining all weekend, but from what it seems the Maasduinen are a true enchanting area to go for a walk and enjoy nature.
So, whatever time of the year, the tiny houses at Droomparken Maasduinen are a perfect getaway from daily life. Enjoy the calm surroundings and take some time to relax.
