Boshuis ‘t Krekeltje
“I’ve celebrated my birthday here in 2020 (32, oh my) and it was the picture perfect place to be. I am a sucker for cabins and this one hidden in the forests is a true gem! Waking up here is like a dream.”
Boshuis ‘t Krekeltje is a magnificent forest cabin, tucked between old deciduous trees where wildlife is numerous. The habitat for wild boars, foxes, roe deer or tree marten, which roam at night and tide. Before you fall asleep, the owl will echo his call and you know it’s all good. You will definitely relax in this cabin at all times, the rhythm of the seasons takes over here. It is a great starting point for beautiful walks and bike rides on moors, sand drifts or around Lake Veluwe as well! Our dog Sok loved the place too.
On the day of arrival, breakfast will be ready for you! The cabin is suited for 2 persons & a perfect romantic hideaway. The natural cabin is characterized by a feeling for its surroundings, without compromising comfort. Underfloor heating provides heat, supported by a wood-burning stove. I love to make a fire! Oh, the smell… I really like the interior too, it all blends in perfectly. The details all breathe a love for the forest.
