“The estate of Bouvigne is surrounded by beautiful gardens and is located on the edge of the forest. The autumn colors of the surroundings and the morning mist make my visit very fairytale-like.”

The estate of Bouvigne is a small estate near the Mastbos (forest) in Breda. Bouvigne has three buildings; the castle, the chapel and the gatehouse.

Although the castle itself is not open for visits, you can get married in there. Imagine this castle as your wedding ceremony location! You’d feel like a real princes marrying your prince.

Not planning on getting married soon? The gardens of the estate are free to visit during weekdays. There are three gardens to visit; a French, English and German garden. The gatekeeper is a fluffy cat that will follow you around everywhere. Be sure to say hi if you see him walking around!
