When our plane landed at Calgary Airport, we immediately fetched our rental car at the airport to drive the 1.5 hours to Canmore. Tip: we love to do road trips and wherever we go, we always rent our car at Sunny Cars! They offer all-inclusive car rental. No surprises as all insurances are included (even refund of damages to windows, tires, roof and undercarriage) and that might be even my favourite thing about them, because before discovering them I always found myself paying for additional insurances on site. Just get it and go, it is road trip time!

We traveled with a little one and booked a one bedroom apartment, and it was perfect! Each unit comes with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living space and private bathroom.
This apartment is very affordable, stylish, I loved the self check in, it is close to Calgary Airport, good coffee and bagels next door, you can walk straight into town, there is a rooftop hot tub and the view of the mountains is the best. We arrived at pitch dark night and I hadn’t seen a mountain at all, so when I pulled up the roller blind in the morning and saw those beautiful mountains in the cover photo I was just shocked with enthusiasm. Take in the most epic views of the Bow Valley, relax, unwind and star gaze after a long day adventuring the Canadian Rocky Mountains: Basecamp Resorts Canmore is worth the stay!
