Daintree National Park
Tropical forest in the north of Australia
“After weeks of desert and beaches, the green Daintree National Park was a warm welcome with life growing and crawling everywhere around me.”
Daintree National Park is an old, tropical rainforest park in Australia. It is easy accessible (paid entrance). There is wildlife everywhere, ranging from tiny insects up to larger animals such as crocodile and cassowary.
The freshwater swimming holes are perfect for a picknick break and swim (and no crocodiles there). Most of the times you have the complete swim-spot all for yourself. And if you are lucky you can even find one with a waterfall. It almost feels like a deserted tropical island!
