“Time stands still at this haunted hotel. I listened to the sounds of squeaking floorboard while laying in my vintage bed. I feel as if I time travelled.”

Not to far away from the coast of Australia you can find this mining town with only 349 people living in the whole area. The Imperial hotel in Ravenswood is over 100 years old and it seems like nothing ever changed there. I was there on a Friday night when all the miners come to the bar for a drink. It has never been so easy to mingle with the locals when you have liters of beer to drink.

The interior is still original and the old fashioned, vintage rooms giving me a time traveling vibe. There are plenty of stories by the owners about ghosts visiting the guest at night. Luckily I did not see any. But I did see plenty of wallabies in the morning when I enjoyed my breakfast on the porch.
