You are able to walk to the beach from your room in just a few minutes! Those with a penchant for adventure can explore the Cape Town’s renowned wineries, hike the crests and hills of Table Mountain National Park, dive the ocean with the Great White Sharks, or take a two-hour kayaking excursion on a balmy Cape Summer’s day. We slept in the Victory room and it gave me such colonial vibes, it was a very special experience sleeping here! In the 18th Century, HMS Victory was one of ten first-rate ships to be built by the British government. She was a lofty battle ship that was repaired and rebuilt many times, serving in maritime wars for many decades. The stunning ship now sits in the oldest dry dock in the world, at Portsmouth, on public display. Victory is the courtyard suite which is located on the middle level on the left-hand side of the villa. This suite does not have a sea view however it has its own private courtyard which has direct access to the social fire pit and the reception area! It was a blessing to be able to sleep here. A must for penguin lovers!
